This is a single post from deeden.co.uk made during the period May 2002 to April 2009. During a previous grand redesign I decided to make a break with the past and consign the old entries to history. This entry is from May 2005 and lives here forevermore.

All Quiet on the Deeden Front

Hello again. I’ve been very quiet for the last month. A combination of things really, busy at work, various coughs and colds, general laziness and other more important things. I suppose I should cover what has been happening since I last bothered to write here. Bear with me as I ramble fairly incoherently for a little while before resuming fairly normal service.

My birthday has been and gone. I’m now 30 years old. Before anyone else asks me, no I don’t feel any different. I’m not panicking and wondering where did the time go. I have received a number of cards from people making fun of my age and those who sent them can be assured that I will remember this and have my revenge! Thank you to everyone who remembered my birthday and send me either presents, cards or vouchers, much appreciated. Kathryn, your book is great and is next on my reading list. I’ve already read some of it and it’s engrossing so I’ll be on to it soon. Another fine choice.

I must also mention Michèle who bought me a wonderful iPod Photo. So far I’m using just under 6 GB and have 22 free. Loads of strange listening to be done. It also provides me with a wonderful way to carry my iCal calendars around with me, which has already proved useful. More information on this during the next few weeks.
