Long Time, No See

Shaun Wright-Phillips scores a goal on his England debut and suddenly everyone is raving about him. Wake up people! We (Manchester City fans) have been singing his praises for the last 3 years and know that he’s a quality player. He should have got a game for England last season, and he probably would have been a good player to bring on from the bench in Portugal. Anyway, he’s ours, keep away!

Cash Peters is writing a new book, according to my sister. She’s a reliable source, I believe her! I’m looking forward to his new book as I really enjoyed Gullible’s Travels, and I don’t think that his handwriting books are my cup of tea.

City have got off to the now traditional dodgy start to the season. 1 draw and 2 losses, not good. We still have a dodgy defence and we’re not putting the chances that do come our way away. With Paulo Wanchope likely to leave we’re looking thin on the ground up front, and if Anelka goes we’ll be in real trouble. Hopefully someone is being lined up, even if only on loan, as we really need some more firepower. I don’t want another season like last year.
