Hello Mum

Well apparently my Mum has found my website (Hello Mum). What effect will this have on my writing here? An interesting question, maybe. I could say that I’ll end up swearing less, but that’s not likely as I can only remember one occasion on which I’ve sworn here, and I still feel that it was justified. So I’m in the clear there!

I can’t think of anything to worry about. She may worry at quite how nerdy I am, with the posts about XML, HTML, CSS and perl, but it could be worse, I could be a closet Manchester United fan! That would probably guarantee me banishment.

On a personal note, I just want to say that the scarf is great Mum. I’m not sure if I convinced you of my sincerity before, but it really is. I’m happily wearing it every day which is useful given the current weather. So thanks very much :)
