Signs of Life - 17th of September 2003

  • Template::Extract is the finest module to have emerged this year. Give it a template and a file and it will attempt to extract the data from the file. It’s fantastic.
  • Module::Build is another lovely module. All I need is a nice script to start a new project and I’d be well away.
  • Tests are wonderful. When you want to refactor a whole module and have pre-existing tests it makes it a wonderfully easy job.
  • We saw both Buffalo Soldiers and Signs at the weekend and they were both well worth the watch. Joaquin Phoenix++
  • Finally I’ve registered for WRGPT 13 after seeing Marc mentioning it. He’s close to cracking and joining too.
