Signs of life - 24th of June 2003

An update for you, my faithful reader. Various things have happened during the last week.

• My sister has finished her course and will be graduating in early July. She’s already got a job lined up. I’m impressed. She will be bookbinding, and I can say from work she’s done for me that she’ll do a fine job.
• The digital camera has arrived. Michele and I spend quite a while during the weekend playing with it and messing about with the different settings. Over 100 pictures taken so far and more to come. I’ll put something up here at some point this week.
• I’ve started playing chess again for the first time in about 8 months. Back to longer time controls, such as 15 minutes for all of the moves, which, after playing 5 minute or 2 minute with 12 second increment games, seems like a lifetime.
