This is a single post from deeden.co.uk made during the period May 2002 to April 2009. During a previous grand redesign I decided to make a break with the past and consign the old entries to history. This entry is from November 2002 and lives here forevermore.

I'm still alive

I’ve become very slack of late in writing here. Part of this is down to being under the weather. Last week I was off for a day and a half with the cold. I’m still feeling a bit dodgy, but I’m well enough to come in.

The main things that has happened since I last posted is that City beat United 3-1 in the Manchester derby. I watched that with Michele and my sister Kathryn and it was nerve-wracking. Even when we were 3-1 up with 10 minutes to go both myself and my sister were still worried. We both remembered the only derby we’ve ever been to, in 1990, when City squandered a 3-1 lead at Maine Road. Thankfully, this time around, however Schmeichel made some great saves and O’Shea missed a sitter.

Apart from that I’ve been doing some web development. I’m updating a couple of sites which should hopefully appear, in part at least, this weekend. Much messing with Template Toolkit, XML and RSS is going on.
