Various morning reading

Brent Simmons has noted that Slashdot has added a new RSS feed which has (very brief) descriptions of the stories. It’s progress.

Marc Pilgrim has been observing the effect that the recent changes at Google appear to be having. Various sites are sliding down the rankings and fairly irrelevant ones are appearing at the top. I don’t know how to feel about still being the top result for diving horses!

I should have mentioned this before, but I didn’t. Jesse James Garrett has written an interesting article on User-centred URL design. Seems to make sense, and I’m using some of it already.
