Man versus machine

It’s strange that whilst most websites out there were rooting for Kramnik during the Brains in Bahrain, I was firmly supporting Fritz. Sadly Deep Fritz only drew the last match, so the whole thing ended up level. Now I’ll have to wait for Kasparov against Deep Junior in December. All of this is merely a prelude to hopefully getting an undisputed chess champion next year, and about time too.

Yes, the “Brains in Bahrain” is a ridiculous title to give a game of chess.
