This is a single post from deeden.co.uk made during the period May 2002 to April 2009. During a previous grand redesign I decided to make a break with the past and consign the old entries to history. This entry is from October 2002 and lives here forevermore.

General catching up

No posts over the weekend, what am I like? Let’s see what happened. Manchester City lost, again. It’s beginning to look like a long difficult season ahead.

Played around with HTML and CSS for a while yesterday trying to get some pages loking just right. Still working on that.

I also watched the pilot of The Shield on Channel Five. Looks promising, but that depends on whether it just ends up being a weekly battle between Mackey and Aceveda. Hopefully it will avoid falling into the trap.

The other thing I watched was the Glasgow derby. An entertaining low-quality match. If that’s the regular standard of Rangers and Celtic then, for their sakes, I hope they don’t start playing in England. The defences were pitiful, reminding me of defences from relegated teams of recent years. There were some good players, Larsson and Ferguson being the main ones, but many of them would struggle in the Premiership.
